The Santoyo Family Legacy

The Santoyo family carries a tradition rooted in the art of charrería, Mexico’s national sport and cultural treasure. It began in San Diego, Zacatecas, where Don David Santoyo raised eight sons who dedicated their lives to horsemanship and the charro way of life.

When the family came to the United States, they brought that tradition with them — keeping alive the values of discipline, pride, and heritage. Now, in Colorado, the SANTOYOs continue to honor their roots, standing as the fourth generation of charros in the family.

This legacy is more than history — it’s a living symbol of resilience, culture, and identity. Every ride, every stitch, every photo continues the story Don David began generations ago
